To the gates

The shuttle to MetLife.

Three tiers, two pickup zones, one path: from World of Blue, across Route 3 via the covered American Dream walkway, into MetLife Stadium. The VIP (VAAP) option drives inside the perimeter itself.

How the coach shuttle works

Coach shuttles run from the World of Blue main entrance to the American Dream pedestrian entrance. From the drop-off, a covered pedestrian walkway crosses Route 3 directly into MetLife Stadium — about a 5-minute walk on a flat, lit, ADA-compliant path.

Coaches depart on a rolling schedule starting 5 hours before kickoff and run through 1 hour after the final whistle. When a coach fills, it leaves — the next one rolls up behind it. For the ride home: we're told ours will most likely be the only coach bus permitted to enter MetLife, so it's easy to spot.

Match-day departure schedule — June 13 opener

Saturday, June 13 — Brazil vs. Morocco, 6:00 PM kickoff. Here's how the day runs:

VIP shuttle (luxury vans, VAAP): two departures — 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM — driving inside the MetLife security perimeter.

Coach shuttles: first coach at 1:00 PM, then continuously after that. A full coach departs as soon as it's full.

The same pattern holds for every match: VIP vans at 5 hours and 3 hours before kickoff, coaches running continuously starting 5 hours before kickoff.

Three tiers — based on where you booked

Direct-book WoB hotel guests: 2 shuttle seats FREE with your room reservation. Additional seats $100/each. Bundled at room checkout.

Hotel guests booked elsewhere (Priceline, Booking.com, Expedia, direct call to hotel): $75/seat. Verify your stay at booking with your third-party confirmation number.

Hotel-elsewhere + buy parking from us: bundle deal — 2 shuttle seats FREE (same as direct guests), extras at $75/seat. The bundle activates automatically when you add parking on the booking page.

Non-hotel guests: $150/seat for shuttle-only on the shuttle-only flow. Want to park too? Off-site parking can't be sold on its own under NJSEA rules, so buy a Hospitality Pass — food, a beer, and a shuttle to the stadium with parking included (first 2 shuttle seats free).

VIP shuttle (VAAP)

The VIP shuttle is a luxury van service using a Vehicle Access Permit (VAAP) to drive inside MetLife Stadium's security perimeter — not a perimeter drop-off, an inside-the-grounds stop. Vans make two departures per match — 5 hours and 3 hours before kickoff (1:00 PM and 3:00 PM for the June 13 opener). Very limited availability (4 seats per online order, more via concierge), $450 per seat. Never bundled with rooms — it must be added explicitly at booking.

For federations, embassies, and corporate hospitality groups bringing VIPs through (federation officials, dignitaries, executive guests), VIP shuttle is typically the right call. Contact concierge to coordinate.

Is World of Blue walkable to MetLife?

No — we are NOT walkable. The 0.3-mile distance between our property and MetLife is straight-line; there is no pedestrian path that connects our property directly to the stadium without crossing high-speed roadways. The shuttle is the way.

The same shuttle path between our property and American Dream is fully ADA-compliant and pedestrian-safe — and the American Dream-to-MetLife walkway picks up from there.
